Language

Set the anime title and interface languages.

Anime title language

How anime titles are displayed everywhere on the site (search, hero, lists, schedule…).

French titles are not supplied by AniList and would have to be guessed from synonyms, which is unreliable — so this picker only covers English and Romaji.

Interface language

Language used for buttons, menus and labels across the site.

We auto-detect your browser language on first visit; your choice here always takes priority and is saved on this device.

Browsing

How the app behaves when you select an anime.

Watch or info page
Choose whether selecting an anime opens its info page or jumps straight into watching.
Hide spoilers
Blur episode thumbnails and hide episode titles and descriptions throughout the app to avoid spoilers.

Video player

Playback-related settings.

Ask for a rating when an anime is finished
Shows a rating dialog when you finish the last episode of an anime.
Force maximum quality
Keep the player at the highest quality instead of adapting to bandwidth. Enable if you get sudden quality drops.
Start muted
Videos start muted; you can unmute from the player controls.
Default server
Always try this server first. Auto uses the site default and remembers the one you pick in the player. Falls back when an anime doesn't have it.
Enable data saver
Turns off the player's live ambient-light effect.

This setting is saved on this device. The rating is stored in your local list (and pushed to AniList when sync is on).

Notifications

Choose which alerts show in the notification bell.

New episodes
When a show you're watching airs an episode you haven't seen.
Sequels
When an anime you completed gets a new season you don't have yet.
Resume reminders
An occasional nudge to pick back up something you stalled on.

Saved on this device. Notifications appear in the bell while the app is open.

Theme

List & AniList Sync

Automate your list as you watch. Rules always update your local list; when the master switch is on and you're connected, they also push to AniList.

Not connected
Sign in to sync your list with AniList.
Enable AniList sync
Connect AniList to also push these changes to your account — the rules already apply to your local list.
Update episode count
When you finish an episode, update your watched-episode count.
Sync threshold
How far into an episode counts as watched (progress +1, and an AniList update when connected).
80%
Auto set to Watching
Finishing the first episode of an anime marks it as Watching.
Auto-pause stale anime
Move a Watching anime to Paused when it hasn't been touched in a while.

These settings are saved on this device. Your local list is always kept as a resilient copy, so it still works if AniList is down.

My list (local)

Your local list lives on this device (0 entries). Export it to back it up or move it between devices.

Export uses the MyAnimeList XML format, which AniList can import. MAL XML import is mapped to AniList ids automatically (unmatched entries are skipped); AniList username imports a public list without signing in.
